Stephanie Wilcox thinks employment law is all about relationships
Senior Associate
Stephanie understands that employment issues can be personal and believes the key to effective employee management is to create internal relationships based on trust, honesty and respect. Stephanie enjoys building strong relationships with her clients, most of which are HR professionals, and this helps her to partner with them to adopt a commercial but balanced approach to the employment law issues that they face. She spent over a year on secondment for a major household name and was fully integrated into their HR team – demonstrating her ability to be agile, practical and commercial.
Stephanie was described in the Legal 500 as one of the “most friendly and likeable people you could ever wish to work with” and the client added that “nothing is too much trouble.”
Stephanie heads up our Agriculture, Food and Rural Business sector and has practical, first hand, knowledge of the issues that the sector faces.
Stephanie is also Head of Agriculture, Food & Rural Business at Greenwoods. Stephanie and her husband farm 450 acres under a farm business tenancy with Cambridgeshire County Council so she has a unique insight into issues that farmers and those in the agricultural sector face.
Stephanie knows that businesses operating in the agriculture, food and rural business sectors are always coming up against new (and old) challenges and she is there to assist them every step of the way.
Stephanie qualified as a solicitor in in March 2015 and has been advising on change programmes, TUPE, grievance and disciplinary processes as well as more general HR advice ever since. In 2017-18, Stephanie completed a secondment where she delivered bespoke in-house support to a large sophisticated HR team so she knows how to take a commercial approach.
Stephanie likes to be outdoors; she is a keen skier and enjoys going on adventures with her young son and daughter.
