Highly Commended in Cambridgeshire Legal Excellence Awards 2021

We were thrilled to see our Wealth Preservation Cambridge team awarded ‘highly commended’ status in this year’s Cambridgeshire Law Society, Legal Excellence Awards in the Private Client Team of the Year category.

Our team members in Cambridge, Ellen Eley and Joanna Allen, led by Clare Harris, deliver a fantastic service to clients.  Over the past twelve months, they have acted on complex and valuable matters for clients, especially in relation to advisory work concerning IHT planning, succession planning and cross border issues (including Sweden, the USA and France).  Their reputation among fellow professionals is that of technically proficient team players, which is why we are winning referral work from accountants, IFAs and banks.

They offer an excellent level of corporate quality service to our private clients, who benefit from our team gaining advice and support from other teams such as Real Estate and Business & Finance.

The team has the capability to advise across the whole spectrum of private client work, from Wills, trusts and estate planning through to estates administration and the management of lifetime affairs and Court of Protection matters.  A high proportion of our team is either STEP qualified or embarking on the exam route to qualification.

Held virtually for the second year running, this black-tie event brought considerable glamour to Zoom!

Thank you to Cambridgeshire Law Society and the judges for making it such a great event.  We know just how much hard work goes into it.  Who knows, maybe next year it can be a physical event, and we can enjoy catching up with friends and colleagues in person.
