Wider Society
We have an ethos of community involvement and support many members of the Greenwoods family to be involved in a range of community, charity and environmental initiatives.
We regularly enable employees to take time out of the office to support charitable organisations and trusts. Some choose to undertake activities to raise funds whereas others act as Trustees or Governors. Having this ethos in place brings our Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) principles to life.
“We believe that every one of us can make a meaningful difference. By getting involved with Centrepoint, we have the chance to contribute to a cause that not only transforms lives but also strengthens our community. Whether through hands-on activities, fundraising events, or sharing skills, our participation is invaluable. Together, we can help end youth homelessness and empower young people to achieve their full potential. We are coming together to show our collective strength and commitment to making a positive impact!”

“I’ve been involved with the Charity Committee since it was first set up at Greenwoods. It’s great how everyone really gets behind the fundraising, and hearing first hand from our charities about the work they do is incredibly inspiring.”
“Walking 34 miles in a day along the Thames Path in London for our Charity of the Year in 2018 was challenging and rewarding in equal measure!”
“The Charity Committee provides fantastic opportunities for us to come together to raise money and awareness. I’ve been heavily involved for 10 years now and have arranged many events including a 100 mile bike ride (highest pub to lowest pub in the UK); 40 mile walk through the night in Rutland; a Hike, Bike and Kayak challenge and our Dawn til Dusk office based challenge. I’ve absolutely loved being involved and can’t wait for our next challenge!”
