  • Advising a major UK financial planning and investment management company with over 100,000 UK clients on a variety of financial services matters, including multiple negligence/FSMA claims.

 

  • Acting for a global water and energy solutions company in defence of alleged outstanding legal fees relating to the acquisition of a dockyard.  The claim included advancing a multi-million-pound professional negligence counterclaim.

 

  • Advising a global maritime services company and its insurer on the merits of a professional negligence claim against an international law firm arising from a missed limitation deadline.

 

  • Advising a majority shareholder and director on potential claims of circa £10m arising from negligent advice from an international law firm in connection with the establishment of an employee benefits scheme.
