Rebecca Towey and Ellen Eley are studying to become Trust & Estate Practitioners, an internationally recognised qualification that enables full membership of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and confirms them as experts in their field with proven qualifications and experience. You can read all about the qualification and what it means for our clients here.
The qualification includes a number of exams and the results from the latest paper, which examined their skills in the Taxation of Trusts and Estates, have just been released.
We are delighted to announce that both Rebecca and Ellen passed with the highest accolade, a distinction and we couldn’t be prouder.
Rebecca said: “I genuinely cannot quantify how many hours we’ve both put into this! There was so much to do and learn. I’m already using the additional skills and knowledge I’ve gained to help clients plan for the future in a tax-efficient way and I know the same is true for Ellen too. ”
Rebecca has now completed all four papers and, impressively, has gained a distinction in all of them. She will now be submitting her application to STEP for full membership.
Ellen passed her previous paper in November and will take her final paper final later this year.
Managing Partner Robert Dillarstone said: “We were delighted to hear about Rebecca and Ellen’s fantastic results which just confirmed what we already know – both are absolutely excellent and are key members of our team. I am particularly pleased that Rebecca is ready to submit her application for full STEP membership and wish Ellen the very best of luck in her next and final paper.”
STEP is a globally recognised qualification and a number of our Wealth Preservation team are members. At Greenwoods GRM we strive for excellence and work hard to constantly evolve and develop our knowledge as a team and a firm.
