Amy has specialised in property litigation since her qualification in 2015.  She commenced her legal career at the age from the age of 13 working at a local law firm.  From there, she achieved a first-class degree in law, and a distinction in the Legal Practice Course.

She started her journey in property litigation in private sector evictions.  7 years later, she now has a broad range of knowledge across the property litigation spectrum including:

  • commercial landlord and tenant disputes
  • business lease renewals and terminations under the Landlord and Tenant 1954 Act
  • real land disputes including boundary disputes, rights of way issues and adverse possession claims
  • TOLATA claims including proprietary estoppel
  • collective enfranchisement and lease extensions
  • leasehold and freehold disputes relating to service charges and breaches of lease
  • first right of refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987

Amy works hard to advise clients on their legal position and risks accompanied with pragmatic and commercial advice so that a client can make an informed decision as to how best to proceed.  Aside from contentious matters, Amy regularly advises clients proactively to avoid future disputes.

Amy is a member of the Property Litigation Association.
