Arthur’s journey in intellectual property is rooted in a strong scientific foundation. With a doctorate in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry from Oxford University, his research spanned cutting-edge fields from chemical vapor deposition to DNA sequence identification.

 

This scientific acumen forms the bedrock of Arthur’s expertise as a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney. Whilst his background is in chemistry, Arthur has expanded his knowledge to cover a broad spectrum of technologies, including power generation systems, haptic feedback devices, and complex areas like computer-related inventions.

Arthur began his career at a boutique London firm, honing his skills in patent and trademark law. His ability to bridge intricate scientific concepts with legal frameworks makes him a valuable asset across various industries.

Since 2015, Arthur has been sharing his expertise through lectures at Brunel University London and contributes to the profession by examining for the UK patent attorney qualification exam.

Demonstrating his commitment to professional growth, Arthur was among the first to complete the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys’ Intellectual Property Litigation Certificate course, enhancing his advocacy skills and expanding his service offerings.
