Isobel completed her Training Contract with Greenwoods in April 2024, qualifying as a solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial team.

She has already gained experience in a number of corporate M&A deals as well as with various commercial agreements. This experience has emphasised that understanding her client’s business and what is important to them is essential to advising them well. Isobel understands that each client is unique, and she can provide tailored commercial advice to clients to meet their individual needs.

Before starting her training contract, Isobel worked at Greenwoods as a Paralegal in the Real Estate team, focusing on commercial property.

She previously worked in quite varied roles, including as an HR assistant for a leading facilities management company and as a credit control executive for a small software company.

Isobel studied at the University of Exeter, graduating with a 2.1 BA (Honours) in Politics and then studied for her Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law, achieving a distinction in both.

Outside of work, Isobel is an active member of three book clubs, so you can always trust her to give you a good book recommendation. She also enjoys hiking in both the UK and abroad.
