Intuitive & Commercially Astute
Apprentice Solicitor
The law bit is important, but I recognise that building strong relationships first is fundamental.
Having lived in Nanjing China to study mandarin during a gap year and New York City in the United States to intern at the UN Headquarters – I understand the importance of communication in building trust and confidence in professional relationships. My approach to clients is built on my experiences travelling across the world which emphasise on effective communication, being interested and delivering the best outcome.
I studied Politics at the University of East Anglia, graduating in 2021 and completed a Master of Arts in Law in September 2022.
I joined Greenwoods in October 2022 as a paralegal in the Real Estate team. In September 2023, I started my journey as an Apprentice Solicitor while studying a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in preparation to qualify as a Solicitor through the SQE route.
My first seat landed me with the Real Estate team and continued most of the work I was doing as a paralegal. My experiences involved carrying out purchases and sales of commercial or residential property. The transactions varied from multi-million-pound commercial property projects to helping a young couple purchase their first home or a company secure a commercial lease.
My second seat landed me with the Risk & Compliance team. My role involved promoting regulatory compliance across the firm and implementing processes to comply with regulations such as money laundering or UK GDPR.
My penultimate seat was with the Employment team. My role involved assisting colleagues to defend employment tribunal claims, including attending tribunal hearings, advising on various matters such as redundancies, settlement agreements and grievances.
I joined the Corporate and Commercial team in March 2025, and I look forward to getting stuck in with corporate and commercial work.
Outside of work, if I am not travelling, you will find me training at the athletics club or gym, reading or visiting family.
